Placement Facilitator

When we look after our family, we need to know what they want, when they want it, what we have in the pantry versus what they want, when we can have what they want prepared and ready for the occasion.

We also need to confirm and agree times, places, what we promise and what they promise if the whole occasion is to be as we planned it for both. If there are outside providers involved, we have to include them properly in the arrangements that we make.

The above is the same essentially for our customers.

In addition you need to have all information about your customers on hand, up-to-date and easily accessible so that the Sales representatives in the field and your customers can always feel confident after they have spoken to you.

Job Expectations

  • Order management (Know what customers want)
  • Stock information (What is in our pantry)
  • Access to transport (Outsiders that are required to deliver)
  • Formalised communication with Reps and customers (Let’s be clear and have all the paperwork done)
  • Administration, Measurement and reporting (Let’s record and file everything and have a scoring system that helps us identify when things are on track and when they are not so that we can be ahead of the game)
  • Have an interest in the influence you have and what makes this influence.
  • Know the market definition and be able ineract from any point competently and constructively.
  • Know the products and the relevant SANS Standards.
  • Know the internal workings of the business as a whole.
  • Have daily/weekly focus points.
  • Be interested and work on your own development.


  1. A minimum of a post-matric certificate.
  2. A Matric certificate with at least Math Literacy.
  3. Microsoft Office competency specifically in Excel and Outlook.
  4. Fluent in English both written and verbal communication.
  5. Syspro would be an advantage.
  6. Accurate in a pressured environment.
  7. Clear telephone diction.
